Rental of lifting and hoisting equipment
We work with the construction-site management to determine what lifting and hoisting equipment your construction site requires. The crane types will depend on the size and nature of the construction project. Therefore, we offer tower cranes, excavators and mobile cranes for hire.
We work out when you will need the equipment, but please account for a waiting period of one month. Naturally, we, or one of our reliable partners, will handle the assembly and disassembly of the crane.
Our experienced crane operators operate our cranes. When we require new lifting and hoisting equipment, they undergo the necessary training or refresher courses at our own training centers.
In addition, all our lifting and hoisting equipment undergoes regular maintenance, repairs and the mandatory periodic inspections. If technical issues arise, we are prepared to resolve them on-site as soon as possible. With our high-quality equipment and expertise, we literally elevate the construction enterprises of Eiffage Benelux to a higher level.
Construction site set up
Sodemat has all the equipment and expertise needed to prepare a construction site.

We calculate how much electricity the construction site needs. With this calculation, you apply to the network operator for a connection to the electricity mains. Once that has been approved, our electricians connect the entire construction site to the mains within one week. To manage consumption peaks, they install a battery.

The construction site is the workplace for your team. For that reason, it is important that everything is available and that the team can work in comfort. This is why Sodemat rents out several types of construction-site container: from offices, meeting rooms and dining rooms to sanitary facilities. The construction-site containers are ready for use after two to three weeks.
- installation of construction-site fencing
Temporary fencing keeps unwanted visitors out. They can be rented per linear meter, of course, with accompanying concrete blocks. A sliding gate provides easy access to the construction site for even greater convenience, an automatic gate can also be chosen.
Even after installation, Sodemat remains the point of contact. Our team of mobile technicians is ready to resolve any issues quickly. In addition, we always keep replacement equipment in stock, and our in-house repair service handles repairs of small items of equipment.
Formwork
We use the drawings to determine which type of formwork your construction project will require. We normally use standard frames for this purpose, although our joiners will also produce custom pieces.
Depending on the size of the construction site and the type of formwork needed, it takes about two weeks to deliver all of the equipment. Of course, we are also prepared to act quickly in the case of rush orders or damaged formwork.
If necessary, our team assists with assembly. At your request, we will provide a toolbox with which to teach your employees the assembly techniques.
Sodemat offers a wide range of standard formwork and has joiners for special pieces. Should you require formwork that falls outside our expertise, we will engage one of our partners while remaining as your point of contact.
